So, how is Kodak doing with the transition away from film and chemicals? Thought you might have some idea, since you're from that part of world.

Actually, I don't really know much about this at all. I know only that they have, but I don't know how well it's been going.

Certainly, this particular episode is not a good indicator. They saved, what, a few cents' worth of storage space and bandwidth for those who wanted to look at my pix? And in return, they've alienated me fairly significantly. This will be on my mind the next time I go to buy a camera, for sure.

And when you add up the impact of all my readers feeling the same way …

I received the same email today and was puzzled... since i don't even have an account with them. I hope all my pictures on Picasa/Google which works for me, as well as my videos... what are they on about?
