Gone Mainstream

Today, the New York Times used the word retweeted in an article without quote marks, a hyphen, or capital letters. I think that's a first for them, not counting user comments.



P.S. Don't bother reading the article unless you're not an old sourpuss like me. I'll spare you the lengthy screed, but I don't believe blogging unfounded rumors to drive traffic is anything to be proud of. And no, Michael Arrington, "it didn’t hurt anyone" is not a useful or sufficient criterion.
