Teabaggers are furious!!!1! (i.e., the truth hurts)

What is it this time?

Apparently some guy told it like it is:

SCHILLER: The current Republican Party, particularly the Tea Party, is fanatically involved in people's personal lives and very fundamental Christian -- and I wouldn't even call it Christian. It's this weird evangelical kind of move... it's been hijacked by this group that...

"MUSLIM": The radical, racist, Islamophobic, Tea Party people?

SCHILLER: It's not just Islamophobic, but really xenophobic. Basically, they believe in white, middle America, gun-toting -- it's pretty scary. They're seriously racist, racist people.

("MUSLIM" here is some "citizen journalist" posing as a Muslim, as part of the latest and greatest Breitbart-wannabe video "sting.")

And just look at Memeorandum: practically every wingnut you've ever heard of is yelling about this.

It's totally unbelievable how polarized our people have become! When was the last time a President apealed to voters to come out in order to defeat their "ENEMIES"! We're ALL Americans. One Nation & Indivisible - except we've been so busy dividing ourselves. There are good people on the left, in the center and on the right. There are not so good people on the left, in the center and on the right. Just as many in all buckets. So stop labeling fellow countrymen as "ENEMIES", lose the paranoia and extremism. NO ONE wins.

I admire your idealism, AR. Unfortunately, I do not share it.

Well, strike that. Of course I agree with your sentiment about there being good people, and not so good people, across the ideological spectrum.

However, I have come to realize that there is a powerful faction in this country, on the right, that truly does not give a shit about America or almost all of their fellow Americans. Or for that matter, the entire planet and nearly everyone who shares it. It's their way or the highway, and they've left the rest of us with no choice but to fight. I'm sorry, but I truly do see them as my, and our, enemy.
