DFH?

I came across a new acronym initialization just now. Anyone know what "DFH" stands for, especially in the blogosphere? I'm guessing, from context, that it means "Democrat From Hell." It's not in any of my usual sources for acronyms and their ilk. Please clue me in if you've heard it. Or entertain us all with your best bluff answer.

BTW, the context mentioned above is quite good: a post describing John Brady Kiesling. I vaguely remember hearing about this guy. Now it sounds like I'll have another book or two on my must-read list.

Funny, I googled the term after reading the same post and wound up here. OK, so that makes two of us. I don't feel quite so lame now.

Great answer!

I missed that one completely, probably because I usually refer to myself and my peeps as "Dirty Smelly Hippies." (Yet another case of the non-banned word being more powerful than the ones that the FCC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of James Dobson Enterprises) worries about.)

Thanks for the link, too. Some great new ones on that page. I especially like "BCW," having picked up on "CW" lately. And I may tattoo "AWWSA" on my arm, while fantasizing about all too many foreheads.

DFH has quite a history, actually. Atrios coined it, and it originally referred to people who opposed Iraq from the beginning, were marginalized, and to this day aren't treated as "serious" by the Beltway.

Thanks for weighing in, lambert. I quite agree with your take on the ongoing status of us DFHs.

I googled DFH and ended up here! For some reason I though it meant "Doors For Hippies"!
