The teams that ended up making it there are among my least favorite, and having to suffer through Fox, Joe Buck, and Tim McCarver sure doesn't help.<br /><br />However, the last month of the regular season and the first two rounds of the playoffs were all so good that there is, if nothing else, a feeling of having to watch to see how the story ends. Also, it's not like there's any NBA action to turn my attention to.<br /><br />I have had long periods without cable myself, so I do know how easy it becomes not to care about sports in that situation. I hope your lot is by choice.<br /><br />I'll note that during the regular season, MLB.com streamed one entire game for free every day, so if you are (had been) jonesing for some baseball, there was that.
