A very fine photo

(This is far from the first very fine photo appearing on that blog, by the way. But for whatever reason, this one really spoke to me.)

Aw, shucks.

It said enough to me that after I squared away the laundry I came back w/ my camera. Why it's taken almost five yrs. of at least monthly laundering to notice is another question.

Heh, thanks. Damn Blogger editor not having all the features of Emacs!

As to why it took you a while to notice: dunno why our brains work that way but they do. But isn't great that you can see something new after looking at something for so long?

Kind of like your favorite pieces of music -- you might hear something you never noticed before upon the 473rd listening.

Most of the world is too deep for us simple humans to do more than catch an occasional glimpse below the surface.
