If you use a Windows machine, especially one running Windows XP or Windows 2000, and you don't have Automatic Updating turned on, then you might want to visit Microsoft's updating web site, at http://update.microsoft.com/. A new fix for several critical security issues has been posted.
Installing the updates is easy. Make sure to use Internet Explorer to visit the above link. You'll be automatically redirected to the appropriate page, based on your operating system, and from there, the onscreen instructions are clear.
