Shadow thought

Don't you love when an idle conjecture flashes through your mind, and it turns out to be correct?

Maybe the idea was spurred by having fruit on the brain? Or am I completely off tropic?

The thought actually was spurred by looking at shadows formed by the sun creeping over the top of the house, but I couldn't resist the terrible pun.
