Jesse Sheidlower has a nice piece on Slate.com, documenting one man's lobbying efforts to include concept as a verb in the next edition of the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
If you want to harsh on the misguided lobbyist directly, and well you should, visit his blog.

Thanks, anon. That's one of the two or three best uses of Flash that I have ever seen. Some fairly nice photos, too, although it's hard to appreciate them in such a small format.
get used to it! verbing has permanented itself into our culture. although i dont know why one would want to use "concept" when both "conceptualize" and "conceptify" are more fun to say.
