Oh, yeah. Epistemic closure is just a myth, right?

Would you believe ... "The Conservative Alternative to YouTube?"

I wouldn't have, either, but apparently this is real.

They also have a Twitter feed, so they can promote what's new and hot, I guess. Here is a screenshot of the latest at this moment:

(embiggen)

I don't doubt it makes just as much sense watching it in the order listed.

See also: L.A. Conservatives Alliance, "a sister organization."

I quote:

There is only one prerequisite necessary to be an American Conservative and that is we all exist on the same moral plain, as defined by the following principles:

Free Market Capitalism
Strong Military
Belief in the institution of the family
Faith in a higher Power
Smaller Government
Lower taxes
The Constitution as a fixed document
The Rule of Law
Equality under the Law

Jee-ziz!

I could pretty much say yeah, whatever to all of those, except one.

One of the things that I hate most about wingnuts is THAT one, third from the end: "The Constitution as a fixed document."

You have to marvel at the deranged (or retarded) state of mind it takes to say that when the original document -- crucially, before any amendments -- lays out a procedure for modifying itself.

I guess the sort of person who would bother to type out a list-creed to which one must swear allegiance is also the sort of person who, when fapping to Teh Conznitution, would prematurely ejaculate.

Heh. Nice catch.

Probably they like that spelling because it's an anagram for He®self.
