LOL! I love that cartoon linked from "carefully." I actually have that printed and hanging on the cube-wall by my desk. :-D

Not to change the subject or anything, but do you believe the theory that every black hole is really a gateway to another universe? Have you heard that? (I assume you have, given your interest in these things. I just heard about it for the first time the other day.)

(To be pedantic, which is unusual for me, I know, I'd call it a hypothesis.)

I can't say that I believe it in any case, because I haven't seen enough (any?) evidence to support it. Is it an intriguing notion? Sometimes. But I have to say, most times it does not sound much different from Prof. Dave Jennings's Conjecture.
