Rachel Maddow On Keith Olbermann's Suspension

This seven-minute clip is well worth your time, especially the concluding couple of minutes.

Next time people say to you, "Eh, MSNBC is just the liberal version of Fox," point them here.

Minor glitch: the audio and video drop out for about five seconds at about 5:50. Just let it go; they will come back.

This is the same Maddow who lied about a former congressman and when called on it dismissed it as an editing error and mocked those who called her on it.

Maddow started off with a lie. Olbermann was not temporally suspended. He was "suspended indefinitely without pay".

You're lying, Sirfith: Maddow was correct; Olbermann's suspension is temporary. He's going to be back Tuesday night.

Why do you have to lie so much, and about so many things?

LOL! Pwned!

Thanks for passing along the good news, Twin.

Cannot wait for the screaming from the wingnutosphere about this news. Good thing we have this video to point them to.

My pleasure.

If you want some good laughs, go read the OUTRAGED!!!!1! conservatives over at News Busters (in the comments). They are sooo disappointed the suspension is over. :-D

Twin/Brendan So MSNBC President Phil Griffin (Keith's/Rachel' boss) is a liar too?
Keith Olbermann Suspended from MSNBC Indefinitely after Contributing to Democratic Candidates
“I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.”

Sirfith: What's at issue here is not what MSNBC President Phil Griffin said; what's at issue is what you said. You said Maddow was lying because she said Olbermann's suspension was temporary. In fact, it was temporary. Maddow was not lying. You were.

Looks like MSNBC host "Rip ‘n’ Read" Rachel Maddow is full of it.
In citing Sarah Palin's contributions, She overlooks MSNBC contributors Harold Ford Jr and Howard Dean. In addition to fundraising by her co-worker host Ed Schultz.
Even funnier is a video of progressives plugging their fundraising websites on MSNBC after Rachel criticized Fox News for letting John Kasich plug his website.
