"Talking nonsense is the sole privilege mankind possesses over the other organisms."
Hard to believe there could ever be a picture to top the irony of this Web classic:
... but EarlG has done it:
Maybe this woman hates America, and she really meant offical as an adjectival form of offal?
Classic.Am I right in thinking that sign in the background says "Texas is not a Mexican colony" ?
Dear God. If you're going to go public with a poster why would you not check the spelling first?Guess these people are so full of themselves it wouldn't even occur to them they could be wrong about anything.(I checked my spelling...)
Astute observation, Alastair. I never seem to see things in the background of photographs. I concur.Beth: From the looks of this crowd, I would guess she asked everyone she knew to proofread the sign and they all said, "Yup. Looks fine to me."Except one friend, who was pretty sure it was offishul, but didn't want to correct the spelling. Because that would be elitist.
Apparently liberals only make more subtle grammatical and spelling mistakes with their inane protest signs.
Everyone knows those mistakes were intentional, part of an effort to appear less elite.
