Since you know we're only about thirty-seven days from hearing that, you might have a look at the draft report of the rebuilding effort in Iraq, compiled by the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction.
The NYT has the whole 513-page report available for viewing on its site. There doesn't seem to be a way to download it or search it at the moment, but it's nicely laid out for comfortable reading and there are decent nav tools -- the ability to type in any desired page number and a sidebar filled with links to the report's sections.
[Correction] The more observant Twin just called my attention to a link to a downloadable version of the report, right below the headline. D'oh! Here's that link: (PDF). The file size is about 7 MB.
