According to their mission statement, the Bradley Foundation is "committed to preserving and defending the tradition" that "has enabled the American nation and, in a larger sense, the entire Western world to flourish intellectually …"
Further: "Its programs support limited, competent government" and it recognizes that "responsible self-government depends on enlightened citizens and informed public opinion."
So I guess my question is, why did they just give Bill Kristol a quarter-million bucks?
