Reminder for Windows users: today is Patch Tuesday. If you don't have Windows Updates set to run automatically, you know what to do.
This month had a quite a few patches, including some for Office. Depending on which versions you have, there could be as many as eight. Elinor Mills at CNET's Security blog has details if you want them.
Mills also says some of the that these patches address are already being exploited, so don't delay. Be a hell of a thing if your computer got pwned and you couldn't surf the Web tomorrow to download Form 4868 enjoy all of the hilarity that the tea-bagging parties are sure to offer.
