Think About This For a While

“If we had done what I asked Sen. Obama to do, because I’ve been in a lot of other campaigns where I have appeared with the opposition with the people and listened to their hopes and dreams and aspirations, I don't think you’d see the tenor of this campaign,” he said.

That's John McCain, speaking on "The View," as quoted by Jonathon Martin of Politico. He uttered that in response to several accusations by the hosts of "The View" that he has been lying on the campaign trail and in his ads.

It takes a moment for that to sink in, doesn't it? John McCain is not denying that he has been lying. He is saying that it's Barack Obama's fault that he's been lying.

Welp, he's already trying to steal "change" as a message from Obama. I guess he just grabbed for "audacity," too.

McCain thumbs up
