Eye Candy for Geeks

Here is a PDF file for your viewing pleasure. It contains a layout of the radio spectrum and how it's allocated. (Radio is used here in the technical sense -- broadcast TV, for example, is a small slice of this spectrum.)

You'll probably want to download it and then use your favorite PDF viewer to look at it -- much zooming in will be required.

I could stand to have a poster of this. Well, for a day or two, anyway.

They really have nothing to do with one another, other than they're both charts, but this post made me think of . I'll probably eventually post it on my own blog, eventually; but, in order to do that I'll feel compelled to have something to say other than "cool!"

Oh well, I messed up the link code, but click through still works ok.

Far be it from me to tell you what standards for posting you ought to have, but I say there's nothing wrong with posting a link and adding only "cool" as commentary. If you need additional justification, recall that the original weblogs were almost exclusively link dumps.
