I know I've raised this question before, but I just cannot get past it: Why does John McCain keep saying stuff that is blatantly not true and so easily debunked? Is it that he's just not really aware of how the Internet works these days? Or is he so used to getting a free pass from his base, the MSM? Or has he been in a Republican-dominated Washington environment for so long that he's bought into the notion that the Big Lie approach gains him more than it loses; i.e., he thinks the people watching the TV show he's on will take him at his word and not listen to the "liberal" fact-checkers?
Or does he just not know what the facts are?
