Following up from my last post:
It’s great that he now wants to talk about putting corporate lobbyists in their place. But he needs to explain why he put seven of them in charge of his campaign. If you think those lobbyists are working day and night for John McCain just to put themselves out of business, well I’ve got a bridge to sell you up in Alaska.

Brendan Keefe, a Led Zeppelin fan? I had no idea.
In fact, I find it so hard to believe, I assume there must be some other origin for that expression.
In any event, my answer to your question is "the very end of this song."
But I still have a hard time believing this could possibly be the right answer to your question. :)
LOL! Got it in one.
Yep. Love the Zep. With the obvious exception, I still like every one of their songs as much as I ever did.
And thanks for your link. I keep forgetting that everything is on YouTube.
Ba-na-na-na-nup, bum bum-bum.
Ba-na-na-na-nup, bum bum-bum.
I'll be humming it all night.
Good job, Twin. Now, who can tell me where Zeppelin took the reference from? (Big hint in the musical stylings of "The Crunge"...)
And Brendan, I'll bet that you used to like "Stairway." It's not the song that's changed...!
Yup. As I said: it's the only one I don't still like as much as I once did.
But back to the song in question: I always did wonder if that line referred to the Godfather.
There's another hint! Get on up!
Wow, so that was the answer, eh? Why did I think you didn't like Led Zeppelin? They're my favorite band of all time, save for just one other. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how central they were to my identity when I was, oh, about 21 years old.
So, what's your favorite of their songs?
Kyklops, I must shamefully admit I don't know where Zeppelin got the reference. Feel like sharing? :)
I could not possible say which Led Zep song is my favorite. I'd be hard-pressed to list even an unsorted top 10. But "The Crunge" is certainly up there.
Regarding the reference, you've had more than enough hints!
Well, then, do you have a favorite album?
I know, these are dumb questions, but ya know.
My favorite album is probably III. Of course, if I listened to any of the others right now, that evaluation might be subject to change.
Where did Zeppelin get the reference to the confounded Bridge from? The Crunge is a long series of repeated phrases, or musical measures, in the same key. Unusual for Led Zeppelin as they are known for numerous transitions in their music. Those transitions, of style and often key, are called bridges. At the end of the Crunge, Robert was desperately looking for a bridge to get out of the repetiveness of the music. He was also imitating how James Brown (The Crunge has a funk style) used to talk to his band and tell them to "take it to the bridge". Love the reference.
Pam: Sounds right to me. And High Peak Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp is a nice name for a puppy.
Twin: I wouldn't have any easier a time of trying to pick a favorite album than I would a favorite song. I'm usually a big one for ordering things, but I just can't do it here.
