Remember the graph of the day from a couple of weeks ago? Here it is, to refresh your memory:
Here is the result of counting the same thing -- appearances by members of Congress on the cable TV "news" shows -- from the week just passed:
Think that has anything to do with why we're having some trouble getting the stimulus bill passed?
ThinkProgress also notes that included among the appearing Democrats were some of the Blue Dogs; i.e., DINOs and wafflers buying into the GOP's talking points.

Most liberals I know are in for a rude awakening as they will soon realize that a large Democratic majority still isn't anything close to a liberal majority. People who should know better have bought hook, line and sinker the irrational belief that the Democrats in Congress are any kind of monolith. The fact that Republicans are still setting the agenda in the US Senate is all the evidence one needs. "Blue dogs" + Republicans give the conservatives a majority in the Senate. Anyone who had high hopes for the Obama administration, legislatively, better get ready for a rough ride. Take health care reform. What kind of national health care system do liberals think will pass out of a Senate controlled by conservatives?
Louder, faster, funnier.
