Following a link from Andrew Sullivan to read about the latest example of Joe Lieberman's treachery, I noticed this little bit about the new John McCain near the bottom:
His campaign bus, the Straight Talk Express, may no longer host the national press corps anymore, as the campaign has cut down access to the candidate.
Given the increasingly negative tone of the McCain ads lately, I suppose the handlers don't want McCain trying to explain himself to his barbecue guests and doughnut-bearing friends. But can he really afford to shun his base like this?
And even more importantly, will the glow from erstwhile proximity wear off soon enough for the MSM to start reporting on McCain honestly before November?

I find it entertaining that Lieberman would accuse someone else of not putting America's interests first. Or Kristol, or Krauthammer, or Wolfowitz, or .. OMFG I am starting to sound like Pat Buchanan!
Hahhaha ...
I heard he has some new ad that says something along the lines of "An American President that Americans can believe in" or something like that. "An American President"? Yeah...? And Obama is... what?
I think his admiring press corp might turn on him fairly quickly. If you assume that the only reason for their slobbering reportage is the access, then what have they got to gain by continuing. Then again, maybe I'm too hopeful. It wouldn't be the first time.
