Olivia Judson has a nice op-ed in yesterday's New York Times, arguing the case for teaching evolution. The reasons might be familiar to some of you; still, it's a succinct and well-written piece. Plus, it's always good to give a shoutout to a scientist for being unafraid to criticize the Bush Administration for its attitude in these matters.
Judson, as you may or may not already know, also runs a blog named The Wild Side that's hosted on the NYT's site and is well worth visiting. The four most recent entries celebrate Charles Darwin, but her favorite topic is sex.
