Yesterday was Patch Tuesday. If you're running Windows and don't have Automatic Updates turned on, you know what to do.
This month was a fairly big one. Depending on which versions of Windows and Office you're running, up to 11 patches addressing up to 26 vulnerabilities are available. Most are rated "critical" by Microsoft. If you're keeping score at home: for my Windows 2000 machine that runs Office 2002, I got eight patches.
If you're running Office 2000 (or earlier), you'll have to make a separate visit to the Office Update site. (Later versions of Office get updated as part of Windows Update.)
Brian Krebs has details and links to even more details, if you want them.
