Small Signs of Returning Sanity

In a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation nationwide poll of 1,031 adults taken 29-31 August 2008, the question was asked:

"How would you rate George W. Bush in comparison to other presidents in U.S. history? Would you say he is the best president the U.S. has ever had, very good, good, poor, very poor, or would you say he is the worst president the U.S. has ever had?"

0% answered "the best." This is down from a poll asking the same question 2-4 November last year, in which "the best" was the answer of 1% of respondents.

You ten people, wherever you are, thanks for waking up. Better late than never.

Oh, by the way? "[T]he worst president the U.S. has ever had" rose from 23% to 26%.

Come on, you Nixon dead-enders. Let it go.
