Weird timing: At the precise moment I pulled this post up in my browser, Joe Scarborough was on the television talking to Chris Matthews about how a McCain loss would signal the rebirth of Jeb Bush's national political aspirations. "Desperate times call for desperate measures," Scarborough said. Worth bearing in mind that Scarborough is from Florida, so he might feel he has an intersting in promoting Jeb's career prospects.
We are growing concerned with your non-stop consumption of Scarborough and are considering staging an intervention.
Apart from that, I'm pretty sure I got to the Jeb Amazon page by following a link buried amid similar speculation. It was one of those things where I opened the link in a new tab, saw from the tab what it was, and didn't look at the actual page till much later. (In case anyone is wondering why I didn't t my h (or why I was looking at a Jeb Bush book page in the first place).)
I think the idea that Jeb Bush has any sort of shot at the executive branch is even more laughable than the belief that Palin is going to be a contender in 2012. I suppose I could see Jeb maybe running for Congress, though -- he left the governor's office still pretty popular among Floridians, didn't he?
