 post hack, ergo propter hack

John Cole and davenoon of LGM, the latter a resident of Alaska, are both reporting that a team from the McCain campaign has been sent to Wasilla.

Wasilla, Alaska, as you may already know, is where Sarah Palin used to be mayor.

Let the vetting process begin.

Of course, a paranoid person might say that they're not there to vet the VP, but to scrub the historical record. But that would never happen, would it? Would it?

An even more paranoid person might wonder, instead, if the McCain people were in Wasilla to deal out a little intimidation to anyone who might express a dissenting view about Palin. But we are not paranoid. We know that nothing like that could happen in America.

Right?
