Some Americans need to have an action plan so that they have a more sustained pace. When they don't know what exactly is going on, and there are only 'unbelievable' events, it becomes extremely difficult to be in motion.
There are some priorities that are quite immediate to ease some of the domestic tension due to the feeling of unsafety. And there are clear steps being taken, even today.
The financial crisis seems quite unclear. For example, will unemployment increase or decrease? Some people say that their finances are 'holding' well. Is that true? Does the financial situation allow for growth in the real estate market? Should people try to buy a second home now?
How much decision making does Obama have at this point, really?
I don't understand politics all that well yet, but it would be nice to have some answers if other people know.
In terms of your post, Brendan, what can I say? I'm not sure whether I should laugh, cry or punch you. I'm just sort of smiling in the meantime.

What a truly outstanding pair of individuals. We are so lucky.
